Doctor is one of the characters in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. His real name is Tim—a quiet guy who takes his job very seriously.
He works hard to help his patients, and gets frustrated when he can’t cure people like Ellen and Lillia.
He spends almost all of his time working at the Clinic, so he’s super easy to find. He works alongside his assistant, Elli, and if you don’t pursue her, he’ll eventually marry her.

Rival Events
These events show the developing relationship between Elli and the Doctor. If you don’t marry Elli by the final event, she will marry the Doctor one week after the last scene.

When you enter the Clinic for the second time, you’ll overhear a conversation between Elli and the Doctor.
They’re talking about babies—Elli comments on how cute babies are, and the Doctor replies that she says that every time she sees one.
Elli insists that all babies are cute. The Doctor smiles and says she’d make a wonderful mother one day—he’s sure of it. Elli responds that if she ever becomes a mom, who would help him at the Clinic?

You walk in to find Elli coughing. The Doctor asks if she’s caught a cold. Elli brushes it off, but the Doctor tells her not to overwork herself and suggests she take a break.
Elli seems a bit surprised and asks what he means. The Doctor clarifies that he simply doesn’t want her to work too hard. Elli smiles and thanks him for his concern.

You find Elli and the Doctor at the beach. The Doctor thanks Elli for assisting him with a recent childbirth case.
He admits that villagers come to the Clinic to give birth, but he feels unqualified to handle those situations properly.
He wonders if perhaps he should leave, and Elli seems concerned at the idea.

The Doctor confesses that he feels inadequate when it comes to helping women give birth—despite being a doctor, he always relies on Elli. He says he’s thinking of leaving town to study and improve himself.
Carter listens and tells him that if he truly feels useless, maybe he should go—but not because he’s unwanted. Carter compares it to his own situation: he feels he doesn’t do much as a priest, but he stays in the village because he loves the place, not just because of his role.
The Doctor exits the confessional and grumbles about how people can hear everything in that booth. He asks you not to tell anyone about what you heard.

In the final event, the Doctor tells Elli that he’s decided not to leave Mineral Town. He says he wants to stay—and that he wants to learn from her.
