  • TV Shopping

    TV Shopping channel becomes available after you upgrade your house for the first time in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature.

    This channel lets you purchase kitchen utensils so you can start cooking with recipes.

    The show only airs once a week, every Saturday, and you must place your order using the phone at the Inn (call fee: 10G) before the next Saturday.

    Ordering on a Holiday

    If the Saturday falls on a holiday (an event day), you won’t be able to place an order.

    However, there’s a trick to still get the item:

    • Watch the TV Shopping show on that Saturday (even if it’s a holiday).
    • Go about your week as usual.
    • On the next Saturday, do not watch the TV Shopping channel.
    • Instead, go straight to the Inn as soon as it opens and call — last week’s offer will still be available.
    • After placing your first order, go back home and watch TV Shopping to see this week’s offer.
    • Then return to the Inn and place another order.

    This method allows you to receive two items in one week.

    Delivery Info

    All items will be delivered by Zack on Tuesday (or Wednesday if Tuesday is a holiday).

    If you ordered two items, leave and re-enter your house so Zack delivers the second item.

  • May Needs a Friend (Events)

    May Needs a Friend (Events)

    One day, May will come to your farm and ask if you can play with her. Shortly after, Barley arrives and tells May that the player is too busy to play.

    You will then be given two choices:

    • Take her to Ellen
    • Take her to Carter

    If you choose Carter, the event will proceed directly.

    If you choose Ellen, she’ll mention that Stu had just asked her to play but she was too weak to join. She then suggests taking the children to the church to see Carter.

    At the church, May will meet Stu, who is also looking for someone to play with. From then on, May and Stu will be seen playing together at the church in the afternoons.

    If one of your animals becomes sick and eventually dies, it will trigger a cutscene at the Church Graveyard.

    Carter, the priest, will hold a short memorial service and say a few kind words about your animal.

    This event emphasizes the emotional aspect of raising livestock, reminding you to always take good care of your farm animals.

  • Strange Salesman (Events)

    • Year: 1
    • Date: 3 Spring

    • Location: Your Farm

    On 3 Spring of your first year, a strange man named Won will be wandering around your farm.

    He sells rare crop seeds that are not available at the Supermarket. After he leaves the farm, you can usually find him at the Inn during the afternoon.

    To complete the full event:

    1. Talk to Won when he appears on your farm.
    2. Head to Rose Square and speak with Harris.
    3. Once Harris leaves, Won will show up in the square for more dialogue.
    4. Finally, go to Gotz’s house and talk to Harris again.
    5. Won will arrive, and the situation will be resolved.

  • Blooming Flowers (Events)

    • Location: Your Farm

    If you plant more than 90 flowers and they are blooming on your farm, Anna will visit and ask if she can pick some flowers.

    Tell her she can take as many as she wants, and in return, she will give you a Power Berry.

  • New Puppy (Events)

    If you’re good friends with Barley from Yodel Ranch, and your Dog has high affection for you, Barley may stop by your farm one day. He’ll ask if he can borrow your Dog for a while because May’s dog is feeling lonely.

    If you agree to let him borrow your Dog, soon afterward puppies will be born! Since Barley and May can’t take care of both, Barley will ask if you can find a new home for one of them.

    Talk to Stu or Harris, and one of them will ask if they can adopt the Puppy.

  • Mystic Berry from Kappa (Events)

    • Location: Mother’s Hill Lake

    If you throw three Cucumbers into the lake at the base of Mother’s Hill, Kappa will appear and give you a Mystic Berry. To trigger this event, make sure you’re standing in front of the two trees on the left side of the lake.

    The Mystic Berry reduces the rate at which Fatigue (FAT) builds up by 50%. When eaten, it also instantly decreases your current Fatigue by 1 point.

  • Honeybees (Events)

    • Location: Your Farm

    If you plant flowers on your farm during Spring, Summer, or Fall, bees will build a hive in the apple tree behind your house. Once the hive appears, you’ll be able to collect Honey from it every day.

    If you give a bottle of this Honey to Louis, the selling price of your Honey will permanently increase from 50G to 60G.

  • Big Tree (Events)

    • Time: After 11:00 AM
    • Location: Midway up Mother’s Hill

    On a sunny day, you may encounter a large tree standing alone in a clearing halfway up Mother’s Hill. If you start chopping it down, the tree will speak, pleading with you to stop.

    • If you heed its warning, the tree will reward you with a Power Berry.
    • If you try to cut it again later, Gotz will find out, get upset, and you’ll faint—waking up at the Clinic. This will happen every time you attempt to chop it, so it’s best to respect the tree’s request.

  • Fishing Pole (Events)

    If you have received the Fishing Rod from Greg during Spring and start raising fish in your pond, something special will happen.

    Once you have at least 50 fish in your pond, Greg will visit your farm and reward you with a Fishing Pole—a better version of the basic Fishing Rod.

    To speed this up, catch fish regularly and remember to toss one into the pond each time you fish.
