Doug is one of the villagers in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. He runs and lives in the Inn, where he stays with his daughter, Ann.

His wife passed away a long time ago, and Doug has worked hard to raise Ann on his own. He worries about her tomboyish behavior and hopes that she’ll get married someday.

Doug spends all his time managing the Inn and takes great pride in his work. He is also an excellent chef.
