In Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, each Harvest Sprite can help you out on the farm — but you’ll need to talk to them twice to ask for their help.
As long as they have at least 2 hearts, they’ll assist you during Summer, Fall, and Winter. The Sprites can do three kinds of tasks: harvesting crops, watering crops, and taking care of animals.
All Harvest Sprites start with two hearts, but they’ll lose 2 affection points every time you ask them to work. The easiest way to keep them happy is by giving them lots of Flour and attending their Tea Party in Spring.
Each Sprite also has a hidden skill level for each task, which starts at 0 and can go up to 255. They have separate skill levels for each of the three tasks mentioned above.
