Basil is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. He lives with his wife Anna and their daughter Marie.
Basil is a huge plant fan who moved to Mineral Town to study the local plant diversity around Mother’s Hill.
He’s written several botany books and plans to write more about other unique plants in the area. You can find his books at the library next to his house, and Marie’s happy to lend them out to anyone interested.
Since Basil spends most of his time indoors writing, you won’t see him out and about very often. But hey, if you love what you do, it’s like you never work a day in your life, right?
Ironically, Basil’s love for outdoor plants actually keeps him inside documenting them, so he rarely gets outside.
