Cooking School (Event)

• Requirements:
  • You’ve won a cooking festival
  • Have a kitchen with all cooking equipment
  • If married to the opposite sex, your spouse is not at home
  • Kitchen is upgraded to the large size

Friendship requirements:

• Female player: 4 or more friendship notes with Elly, Jennifer, Karen, Marie, Popuri, and Ran
• Male player: 4 or more friendship notes with Brandon, Cliff, Doctor, Gray, Kai, and Rick

This Summer event triggers when you click beside the kitchen inside your house, as if you’re about to cook a recipe. You’ll hear a knock at the door and a group of visitors will come in.

If you’re playing as a female character, you’ll see female marriage candidates. If you’re playing as a male character, you’ll see male marriage candidates. Special marriage candidates won’t participate in this event.

The guests are impressed by your cooking skills and have come by to enjoy your dishes. If you agree to feed them, they’ll all sit at the table waiting for you to serve their meals.

Talk to each candidate to hear which one of five dishes they want. The dish they request is randomly chosen from the list below.

Once you know their favorite dish, head to the kitchen and cook it. You don’t have to make it fresh—you can serve dishes you already have in your fridge.

Female visitors and their possible requests:

• Elly: Almond Tofu, Moon Dumplings, Salad, Sandwich, Strawberry Milk (recipe)
• Jennifer: Madeleines, Mashed Potato, Pudding, Pumpkin Potage, Yam Dessert
• Karen: Fried Potato, Popcorn, Sashimi, Tempura, Vegetable Pizza
• Marie: Fruit Smoothie, Raisin Bread, Relaxtea, Strawberry Cake, Vegetable Juice
• Popuri: Baumkuchen, Boiled Egg, Eggs Benedict, Tamagoyaki, Omelet Rice
• Ran: Cake, Cheese Fondue, Matsutake Rice, Pancakes, Stew

Male visitors and their possible requests:

• Brandon: Baked Apple, Napolitan, Orange Pastries, Orangette, Zaru Soba
• Cliff: Cheese Fondue, Miso Soup, Mushroom Rice, Nasi Goreng, Vegetable Stir Fry
• Gray: Baked Yam, Cheesecake, Curry Rice, Fish Soup, Fried Rice
• Rick: Ajillo, Eggs Benedict, French Toast, Tamagoyaki, Strawberry Milk (recipe)
• Doctor: Carpaccio, Mixed Smoothie, Mont Blanc, Paella, Stew
• Kai: Bibimbap, Curry Bread, Fish Fritters, Pineapple Juice, Quiche

For every dish you serve that matches their request, you’ll get +10 Friendship Points with that guest. They won’t accept any other dishes, so no substitutions allowed.

If you can’t make the dish they asked for (you don’t know the recipe, don’t have enough ingredients, etc.), talk to them again and tell them you can’t make it.

They might apologize for the unexpected visit and then everyone will leave your house, even if you haven’t served the other guests.

Basically, try to cook and serve the requested dishes that you can make before letting guests know you can’t fulfill their request.
