You find Doctor deep in thought by the lake when he notices you approaching. He asks if you’re feeling well, but you assure him that you’re fine. The Doctor then begins to talk about his parents.

His family has been in the medical field for generations—his father was a doctor, and his mother a nurse. When he was a child, his parents were always busy at the hospital, and he often felt lonely. Eventually, he began to resent their occupation and rebelled against them.

Now that he works in the same field, the Doctor has a much better understanding of what his parents went through and the challenges faced by those who dedicate their lives to saving others. He reflects on how foolish he had been during his rebellious phase.

The Doctor apologizes for burdening you with his regrets and then quietly heads home.
