Harris drops by to visit Gotts. He mentions that the town has been peaceful today, and Gotts agrees that there’s nothing wrong in the mountain area either. Harris apologizes, saying he should have been the one patrolling the mountains.

Gotts tells him it’s okay for him to handle it since he knows the area better. Harris still feels guilty and reminds Gotts that it’s been a long time since Gotts’ wife and daughter passed away in the mountains.

Gotts acknowledges that it’s been a while. There’s no way to bring them back, but maybe if he keeps patrolling the mountains, his family can rest in peace. He’s confident they’d be happy knowing he’s guarding the mountain.
