Cliff Faints (Event)

  • At least 1 friendship note with Cliff
  • Not married to Cliff
  • Not married to Ran
  • At least 1 empty slot in your inventory/backpack

While walking through Rose Plaza, you see Cliff suddenly collapse in the middle of the square. He mutters that the white snow reminds him of the day he left his hometown. He drops a photo on the ground, which you pick up before heading to the inn to get help.

You inform Ran, Carter, and Dudley to help carry Cliff to the clinic. Doctor is relieved you found Cliff before anything worse happened. The Doctor asks Cliff to stay at the clinic temporarily and sends everyone else home.

Cliff will stay at the clinic for 3 days. During this time, the clinic’s front door will remain locked on Wednesday morning. The Doctor will return to the clinic around 11 AM on Wednesday to accept visitors.

Returning the Photo

Since you still have Cliff’s photo, you can choose to return it to him either while he is resting at the clinic or after he has recovered.

When you return the photo, Cliff explains that it is a picture of his sister and mother.

• Cliff did not like staying in his hometown, so he left to travel, leaving his sister and mother behind.
• When he finally came back, he found that his mother had passed away.
• Cliff does not know what happened to his sister.

After that, he wandered from town to town alone until he arrived in Mineral Town. Unfortunately, this place reminds him of his hometown.

Cliff will thank you for finding his photo, and you will gain +20 FP with him.

• The photo cannot be given as a gift to anyone else.
• It cannot be sold via the shipping bin or at Huang’s shop.
