Autumn Winery Harvest (Event)

• Location: Outside your house
• Time: 6 AM – 12 PM
• Day: Wednesday, Autumn 14, Year 1
• Weather: Any
• Requirements:
  • You must have seen Cliff’s introduction event
  • You must have greeted Duke at least once before

As you step outside your house in the morning, Duke will be waiting for you. He explains that tomorrow (Autumn 15), he will be harvesting grapes at the Adge Winery and needs some help. He offers to pay you for your work.

You can respond in one of two ways:

• Agree to help:
  • +10 FP with Duke
  • Duke asks you to come to his house at 10 AM the next day.
  • He also suggests you bring anyone else who might be able to help.
  • The person Duke is referring to is Cliff.
• Decline, saying you’re too busy:
  • -10 FP with Duke
  • Duke admits he might have to handle the harvest alone.
  • He asks if you know anyone else who could help, mentioning someone who often goes to church (Cliff).

Telling Cliff About the Job (Optional)

If you want Cliff to join the harvest, talk to him on Autumn 14 and mention the job. Cliff will be interested because he is running low on money and plans to go to the winery the next day.

Autumn 15: The Harvest Day

• If you agreed to help Duke and told Cliff about the job, go to the Adge Winery between 10:00 AM and 12:59 PM.
• Manna will leave and lock the door at 1 PM, so don’t be late.
• You and Cliff will work together to help Duke with the harvest.
• After the work, Duke pays you 1000 G.
• Duke offers Cliff a permanent job at the winery.

If Cliff accepts the job, his personality changes—he stops lazing around the church during the day and happily works at the winery in the afternoons.

If You Are Too Busy to Help or Don’t Tell Cliff

• On Autumn 15 at 10:30 AM, Cliff will visit the winery but you won’t be involved in the event.
• Cliff will continue to be seen at the winery afterward.
• You can visit the winery yourself on Autumn 15 and agree to help until 5 PM.
• After working, you’ll receive 1000 G and +20 FP with Duke and Manna.
• If you tell Manna you can’t help at all, you lose 20 FP with both Duke and Manna.

Additional Notes:

• Autumn 15 is also the day Van arrives at Rose Plaza to open his pet shop from 12 PM to 6 PM, selling only dogs during the autumn season.
• If you want a dog before next autumn, try to finish the harvest event early enough (starting at 10 AM) so you can visit Van’s shop before it closes at 6 PM.

Cliff Not Offered the Job

• If you never tell Cliff about the job, he will not get hired and will leave Mineral Town at the end of Year 1 (Winter 29).
• After leaving, Cliff will be gone for at least 31 days.
• To get him back, you must trigger the “Cliff Returns” event.
