Cliff is a bachelor character you can marry in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. He is a wanderer who finds himself in Mineral Town.
As a wanderer, Cliff moves from place to place looking for a home. When he first arrives in Mineral Town, Cliff stays at the Inn and goes to church during the day, avoiding social interactions with the villagers.
Carter is worried about shy Cliff and hopes maybe you can befriend him. At first, he doesn’t talk much, but as you raise your friendship with Cliff, he will become more talkative.
During autumn of your first year, there is an opportunity that can give Cliff a purpose in life by working at Duke vineyard. It’s up to you whether to invite Cliff to work or not. If you do, Cliff will leave Mineral Town on Winter 29 of your first year.

You walk over and greet Cliff. He responds, but when you continue standing there, he awkwardly asks if something’s on his face. You tell him no—you just want to get to know him better.
Cliff tries to talk, but he’s clearly nervous and struggles to speak face-to-face.
