When you enter the workshop, you’ll see Gotts looking a bit frustrated. He explains that he’s lost his motivation and feels stuck in a rut he can’t seem to escape. Gotts asks you to give him some time as he tries to recover from this slump.
While Gotts is feeling down, you won’t be able to order any construction projects. You’ll need to help improve Gotts’ mood by giving him gifts. Gotts likes Honey (+9 FP), Apples (+9 FP), Oranges (+9 FP), and Wood (+9 FP). Soon enough, his friendship (and mood) will improve.
Recovery Phase
After you reach at least 6 friendship notes (150 FP), return to Gotts’ house between 1:00 PM and 10:00 PM on a clear day in Autumn.
Gotts will tell you that he’s finally feeling motivated again and apologize for worrying you. After this, you can order construction projects from his shop once more.
If Gotts has fewer than 4 friendship notes, he will lock the workshop door at 7 PM. Once you have at least 4 notes, he will leave the door unlocked until 8 PM.
You can enter Gotts’ workshop between 8 PM and 10 PM only after you have at least 8 friendship notes with him.
