- Requirements: 10 friendship points with Jeff and Sasha
Inside the store, Sasha is frustrated with Jeff wishy-washy attitude. When you enter, Jeff greets you, but Sasha isn’t done talking to him yet. Apparently, Jeff has been too relaxed with customers, letting them promise to pay for their purchases later.
Sasha tells Jeff he needs to start demanding payment when customers buy something. She explains that if customers don’t pay, Jeff ends up losing money. Why is it always you who ends up covering their bills?
Jeff understands what Sasha means, but says customers always say they’ll pay “later.” When Sasha asks if anyone actually pays, Jeff has no answer—because that “later” never comes.
Sasha insists Jeff be more firm about payments from now on and decides to test it with the next customer.
You and Sasha step away from the counter to watch. Duke comes in to shop. He picks out his items and asks to put it on his tab. But just as he’s about to leave, Jeff finally finds the courage to ask Duke to pay cash instead.
Duke is a bit surprised by Jeff’s newfound determination, but Jeff tells him he won’t let him run a tab anymore. Duke admits he doesn’t have money on him right now and will come back later.
Sasha is proud of Jeff, and Jeff feels good for standing up for himself at last.
