Mugi is still trying to contact her daughter by phone. This time, she brings Mei along to talk to her mother. Mugi hands the phone to Mei, who is very happy to speak with her mother. Mei tells her mother that she will follow all the instructions given by her grandfather.

Mei wishes her mother could come back to see you, but Joanna can’t come home right now. Mei feels sad but tells her mother not to worry, then hands the phone back to Mugi. Mugi tells Joanna that she will call again soon.

After hanging up, Dudley asks if Mugi has spoken to Joanna again. Mei is happy that she got to talk to her mother, which she hasn’t done in a long time. Then she becomes sad as she tells Dudley that her mother won’t be coming home. Mugi then escorts Mei home.
