Library

The library’s packed with free info to help players become awesome farmers. Every bookshelf has stuff like how to take care of animals, how crops grow, how to make friends with the Nature Sprites, and more.

Marie runs the library from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. The library has two floors.

The first floor has 5 bookshelves, and the second floor has 10. To read something, just stand in front of a bookshelf and press the Action button. Press the Cancel button to close the book.

First Floor

• Mini-Games with the Nature Sprites: This book explains how to play the farming mini-games at the Nature Sprite Hut.
• Festival Tips and Tricks: Covers the best ways to win the Horse Derby and Cluck-Cluck Clash festivals.
• Basic Controls: Explains which buttons to press to use tools and navigate your backpack.
• Raising Crops: A book about the basics of growing crops, including a list of seasonal crops.
• Crop Growth Stages: This book has an in-game list of how long each crop takes to grow (and regrow, if applicable).

Second Floor

Bookshelves on the back wall, from left to right:

• Mining: This book gives general info about what you can find in the Spring Mine.
• Fishing: Explains where to get a fishing rod and how to cast your line to catch fish.
• How to Raise Livestock: Talks about which animals you can raise and how to take care of them.
• Record Player, Using the Bathroom, Using the Vase, The Fridge, and The Cabinet: A bunch of one-page books with basic guides on how to use these farmhouse features.
• Mineral Town Shop: This shelf highlights all the shops in town—except the library itself! Includes the General Store, Forge, Inn, and more.
• Obtaining a Kitchen: Explains how to add a kitchen to your house.
• Your Tools and What They Do: Learn which items go in the tool section of your backpack.

Bookshelves in the middle of the room, from left to right:

• Help from the Nature Sprites: This book explains what jobs the Nature Sprites can do for you.
• Monitoring Your Stamina and Fatigue: Teaches players how to recover stamina and fatigue getting too tired.
• Shipping Values: A big book listing the money you earn from items placed in the shipping bin in Normal Mode. It doesn’t include values for Simple Mode, where you get 20% more G.

Bonus Tip:
Check the bottom-right bookshelf on the second floor—you’ll find a hidden Truth Jewel there!
