Let’s talk about livestock in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (SoS FoMT)!
There are five types of animals you can raise—cows, sheep, alpacas, chickens, and angora rabbits. Each one produces different kinds of products, so your farm will be full of variety!
Livestock from Yodel Ranch
Cows
You can grab a cow from Yodel Ranch. Taking care of them is pretty chill—just feed them, brush them, and give them a little chat every day. If it’s a nice sunny day and you let them roam outside, no need to feed them! The better your bond (more hearts!), the better the milk they give.
Sheep
Same deal as cows—sheep are also available at Yodel Ranch. They love a good brush, some food, and a quick daily hello. They’ll give you wool, and just like cows, if they’re out enjoying the sun, they don’t need feeding that day.
Alpaca
Alpaca are like the fluffier cousins of llamas. When you buy one from Mugi, it’s already all grown up and ready to be sheared. They produce wool too, and the fluff quality gets better the more they like you. Care routine? Same as the others—feed, brush, love. Easy.

Livestock from PoPoultry
Chicken
Chickens are the cheapest livestock you can get in the game—and also the easiest to care for! Just feed them in the coop when it’s raining, or let them wander outside on sunny days so they can snack on worms from the ground. Super low-maintenance, and the best part? Once they’re fully grown, they’ll lay an egg every single day. Cha-ching!
Angora Rabbits
Aside from chickens, you can also raise adorable Angora Rabbits. You can buy one from PoPoultry for 3,000 G. These fluffy friends produce Rabbit Fur, which you can harvest every 5 days—and yes, it grows back!
