This event occurs once every 5 years on the night of October 10, if the weather is clear. To ensure the weather will be clear, save your game on the night of October 8, then check the weather forecast on TV on October 9. If the forecast predicts rain on October 10, reload the saved game and try again until you get clear weather.
On the night of October 10, go to the summit of Mother’s Hill to watch a shooting star fall from the sky. It is said that wishes made on a shooting star will come true, so you will be able to choose one of three wishes:
- My animals to like me better: Gain +10 Friendship Points (FP) with each of your animals
- My friendships to bloom: Gain +10 FP with every resident of Mineral Town
- My shipments to earn more: Earn double the money for all items shipped on the following day at 5 PM
On October 11, sell as many products as you can. The shipment will calculate your daily profit at the normal rate, but everything you put in the shipping bin before Zack picks it up at 5 PM will earn double the normal profit.
Note: Huang’s shop will not offer double prices for items sold directly to him. Only items shipped through Zack will count for the bonus.
