Summer Festival

Like in other Story of Seasons games, Friends of Mineral Town has a variety of festivals each month. In Summer, there are four main festivals you won’t want to miss: Fetch Fest, Cluck-Cluck Clash, Moo-Moo Festival, and the Fireworks Festival.

Summer 1 – Fetch Fest

• Date: 1 Summer
• Location: Mineral Beach
• Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Requirement: Own an adult pet by Spring 31
• +5 FP with each villager you talk to

You can only participate in this event if you own a fully grown pet by Spring 31. On the morning of Summer 1, Zack will visit your farmhouse and ask if you want to join the Frisbee Distance Contest. If you accept, you’ll choose which adult pet you want to compete with.

If you don’t have an adult pet, you’ll simply continue your farm work for the day—nothing special happens.

If you do participate, speak to Zack to begin the contest. You’ll have two chances to throw the frisbee, and your pet must catch it at the longest distance possible.

• If you win, you’ll get:
  • +20 FP with each villager
  • A Power Berry (only the first time you win)

Tips:

• Time stops while you’re on the beach—this is a great opportunity to go fishing.
• You won’t lose stamina when fishing during the festival, but you also won’t gain any fishing EXP.

Summer 7 – Cluck-Cluck Clash

• Date: 7 Summer
• Location: Rose Plaza
• Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Requirement: Choose a chicken on 6 Summer
• +5 FP with each villager you talk to

On Summer 6, Rick will visit your home and ask if you want to participate in the Chicken Sumo Festival the next day. To join, pick your chicken with the most hearts. 5 hearts is usually enough, but more is better.

Speak to Rick to begin the chicken sumo tournament. The game consists of three knockout rounds. The goal is to scare the opposing chicken off the mat.

Controls (PC):

• Use Right Click to make your chicken jump and flap its wings.
• If the enemy chicken gets startled (indicated by a ! above its head), it will walk backward.
• Repeat this to push it off the mat before it does the same to your chicken.

Each round gets progressively harder, with Round 3 being the toughest.

• If you win, you’ll get:
  • +20 FP with each villager
  • A Golden Chicken Trophy (first-time win)
  • Your winning chicken can now lay:
    • Golden Eggs (under 1000 outdoor hours)
    • Platinum Eggs (over 1000 outdoor hours)
    • X Eggs (1 in 255 chance, separate from Platinum)

Note: Both white and brown chickens are the same species.

You can sell the trophy to Huang for 48,000 G – 57,000 G.
You’ll receive a new trophy each time you win again.

Summer 20 – Moo-Moo Festival

• Date: 20 Summer
• Location: Rose Plaza
• Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Requirement: Choose an adult cow on 19 Summer
• +5 FP with each villager you talk to

On Summer 19, Mugi will visit your house in the morning to invite you to the Cow Judging Contest. Choose any adult cow from the list—Normal, Coffee, Fruit, or Strawberry. Mugi will take your chosen cow away for the day.

Talk to Mugi to start the contest. He’ll judge each cow and announce the winner.

• If you win, you’ll receive:
  • +20 FP with each villager
  • A Golden Cow Trophy
  • Your winning cow can now produce:
    • Golden Milk (under 1000 outdoor hours)
    • Platinum Milk (over 1000 outdoor hours)
    • X Milk (1 in 255 chance from Platinum Milk)

There are four cow types—Normal, Coffee, Fruit, and Strawberry.
You’ll need to win with each type to get all versions of their milk.

You can sell the trophy to Huang for 48,000 G – 57,000 G.
A new trophy will be awarded each time you win again.

Summer 24 – Firework Festival

• Date: 24 Summer
• Location: Mineral Beach
• Time: Begins at 6:00 PM
• +5 FP for each candidate you talk to

This evening event begins at 6:00 PM at Mineral Beach. Walk to the area to see bachelorettes or bachelors waiting for the fireworks show to begin.

If You’re Unmarried:

• Any candidate with a Green Heart (30,000 LP) or more will invite you to watch the fireworks together.
• Accepting their offer will start the fireworks cutscene.

If You’re Married:

• Speak to your spouse at the beach to watch the fireworks together.

• You’ll watch the fireworks alone after speaking to everyone.

• You can fish without losing stamina, but you won’t gain fishing EXP.
