In Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (SoS FoMT), your activities and achievements are tracked as Farm Degree points, which accumulate to determine your Farm Degree Rank (or farming title).
Unlike some other Story of Seasons titles where Farm Degree unlocks in-game rewards, in FoMT, it serves solely as a personal achievement record.
Overview of Farm Degree
- Farm Degree points are automatically calculated in the background based on your gameplay.
- You can view your current Farm Degree points and rank by opening the bookshelf inside your house and selecting Farm Degree.
- There are 10 categories of points, each with a maximum of 1,000 points, totaling 10,000 Farm Degree points.
- Your Farm Degree Rank changes as you accumulate points, starting from Novice Farmer and progressing through ranks up to Farming Universe Master.
- Your certified farming title is shown at the bottom of the Farm Profile screen.

Tip: Use rubber bands or tape on the left joystick to make your character walk against a wall in an indoor space, then let the game run to count steps automatically. Disable auto-sleep in settings.
2. Shopping Master Ring
Unlocked after purchasing items from town shops 35 times. The ring will be mailed to your mailbox without a notification icon.
How to farm: Buy 1 chicken/rabbit feed from PoPoultry repeatedly, checking mailbox after each purchase. Save inside the shop before buying to try buying multiple items quickly.

Received from your spouse on your first wedding anniversary. Enter your house after 6 PM on that day.
4. Marriage Ring
Received during your wedding ceremony.
