Huang is one of the characters in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. He moves to Mineral Town on Spring 3 of your first year.

He will greet you when you leave your house in the morning, telling you that he’ll be setting up a small shop inside Zack’s house on the beach. Huang is always looking for creative ways to make money—even selling so-called magical apples.

Once your friendship with Huang reaches 4 friendship notes (100 FP), you have at least 500 G, and you have an empty backpack slot, Huang will visit your house on the 4th of each season.

He’ll offer to sell you either a SUGDB Apple, HMSGB Apple, or AEPFE Apple for 500 G. You can only buy one apple per visit. He will continue to visit on the 4th of each season as long as the friendship, money, and inventory conditions are met.

If you have 5,000 G or more on the 11th of any season, Huang may offer to sell you a Flower Vase. If you reject the offer five times, he’ll stop offering it to you. The vase is required to marry Huang.

Hidden Hearts & Friendship

Your heart level with Huang won’t ever show. Since he doesn’t accept Preserved Flowers, you’ll never see heart markers on his portrait or in the relationship menu. This mystery is part of the challenge of marrying him—his heart meter just won’t show, even after you’re married.

Heart Events

Huang does not have romantic heart events like regular candidates. The primary challenge lies in reaching the hidden Love Points (LP) requirement.

To propose to Huang with the Blue Feather, the following conditions must be met:

Witness all three shopkeeper events

When you enter, you’ll see Huang has dropped his apples and can’t tell them apart. After talking to himself, he notices you and gives you an apple in exchange for keeping it a secret. You’ll receive one of the following:

Huang will now allow you to sell items to him by holding an item and speaking to him. He’ll offer a price, which you can accept or reject.

He offers random prices within a set range for certain rare items. For example:

This time, Huang invites you to play an apple shuffling game. He shuffles his three special apples and asks you to pick the correct one. If you complete all 10 rounds, you’ll be rewarded with a Mystery Flower. Otherwise, you’ll get a Mystery Ticket.

You can now replay this game daily for 100 G.

Mystery Ticket Rewards

Holding a Mystery Ticket and talking to Huang lets you play a lottery minigame. Match two or three spinning numbers to win:

Winning 10 rounds in Huang’s game earns you a Mystery Flower, which can be:

Sold to Huang for 78,000 – 86,000 G
Offered to the Harvest Goddess

After giving her 10 Mystery Flowers, she’ll reward you with the Goddess’ Present, which:

Can be sold to Huang for 1,000,000 G
Can be obtained multiple times

You may offer multiple Mystery Flowers to the Goddess in a single day.
