Locations & Shops

There are 31 different locations you can visit in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, including villager homes and 11 shops scattered across Mineral Town.

Additionally, there are 3 free-access areas, and each shop operates on specific days and hours. You’ll find a signboard at each store indicating their open hours. Most stores close on major festival days.

If you examine a shop and it displays “Counter,” it means the shop is closed at that time. You can unlock earlier access to some buildings by increasing friendship points with the shop owners, though this does not change store hours.

Library

Open: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Closed: Mondays

Located in the northern part of town and connected to Basil’s home. The two-story library contains bookshelves that offer tutorials when read. A Truth Jewel is hidden in the lower-right bookshelf on the second floor.

General Store

Closed: Sundays & Tuesdays

Run by Jeff and his wife Sasha. You can buy items from Jeff during business hours when he stands behind the register.

Clinic

Owned by Doctor and staffed by Elly. Buy items from Elly behind the counter or receive checkups from Doctor.

Friendship allows access to their upstairs bedrooms.

Church

Closed: Only during festivals

Located in the northeast corner of town. Carter offers blessings (including curse removals). Autumn’s Music Festival and player weddings are held here.

Cliff often visits before working at Adge Winery.

Nature Sprites’ Hut

Open: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Closed: Only during festivals

Found along the trail to the right of the church. Home to the Nature Sprites who can help you on your farm.

Adge Winery

Open: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Closed: Saturdays

Located in the central north area of town. Owned by Manna, who sells goods during business hours.

Duke and Manna live upstairs. Friendship grants access to their second floor (excluding their bedroom).

Inn

Closed: Only on holidays

Run by Dudley. You can purchase food here. Upstairs, you’ll find rooms for Dudley, his daughter Ran, and lodgers like Gray, Cliff, and Jennifer.

Van’s Shop

Closed: Most days, open only on Wednesdays

Appears at the left side of Rose Plaza on the 15th of each season (weather permitting). You must raise your pet’s affection to 8 hearts before buying another one.

Beach Cafe

Run by Kai during Summer. Sells seasonal food. Open only when Kai is in town.

Huang runs his shop from inside Zack’s beach house using an old orange crate as his counter. Only open when Zack is present.

Forge

Located near your farmhouse. Run by Saibara, where you can upgrade tools, craft makers, or forge accessories.

Buy poultry and related goods here. Run by Lillia, who lives here with her children Rick and Popuri.

Friendship grants upstairs access.

Hire Gotts to upgrade your house or construct furniture and buildings. You can buy from him when he’s behind the counter.

🏡 Villager Home

Basil House

Located in the northern part of town, this house is connected to the Library. The second floor contains a bedroom, but you cannot access it until you’ve increased your friendship with Anna.

Anna hosts cooking classes here every Saturday, where players can learn new recipes.

Ellen House

Situated in Northside. Ellen lives here with her granddaughter Elly and great-granddaughter Yu. You can visit starting at 10:00 AM.

Jennifer’s Tent

Jennifer lives in a tent located on Mother’s Hill, and she can often be found there during the day.

If you’re looking to raise friendship or affection points, visit her at her tent during the day and at the Inn at night.

Mayor House

Located in the northern part of town. Mayor Thomas lives here with his son Harris. You can enter the house starting at 10:00 AM.

Zack House

Found on Mineral Beach, this house is home to Zack and Huang.

Huang runs a shop here selling unique items not available at any other shop. Accessible from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed on holidays.

🏖️ Special Locations

Beach Villa

A special seaside house you unlock after offering 150 gifts to the Harvest Goddess during Spring.

After the final offering, she rewards you with the villa on Mineral Beach.

The villa features blue and yellow-themed furniture, a large abstract painting, and does not support upgrades or expansions. Your spouse and child will not move in with you.

Forest

A wooded area located below town, containing wild forageable items. It connects to Southside, Mother’s Hill, and the player’s farm.

Hot Spring

Located near the Spring Mine and Goddess Pond, this relaxing bath restores your stamina when you soak in it.

Lake Mine

Found at the center of the lake on Mother’s Hill, accessible only when the lake freezes in Winter or by using the Teleport Stone.

You can mine rare ores and gems here.

Mineral Beach

Located east of town and accessible through Rose Plaza. You can play fetch with your pet, fish, or forage items here. The beach includes three buildings: two homes and one shop.

Mother’s Hill

A forested area containing five locations:

Jennifer’s Tent
Hot Spring
Lake Mine
Spring Mine
Goddess Spring

You can forage and fish here. From here, you can also access Mother’s Hill Summit and the Forest.

Mother’s Hill Summit

The highest point on the map, overlooking the town.

Several festivals are held here, including:

Mountain Villa

A special villa gifted to you by your spouse on your 50th wedding anniversary.

Located north of Kappa’s Pond and south of Mother’s Hill, the villa includes rustic furniture but cannot be upgraded or lived in with your family.

Rose Plaza

Found in the eastern part of town between Northside and Southside.
Connected via path to Mineral Beach.

Hosts numerous festivals and becomes the venue for Van’s Pet Shop on the 15th of each season (weather permitting).

Secret Forest

Located between Northside and Southside, this small forest includes a pond. Players can fish and forage here.

Spring Mine

Found on Mother’s Hill, this mine contains ores used to upgrade tools or create maker machines.

Town Villa

A purchase-only extra house available from Gotts for:

Gotts takes 3 days to build it. Located in the empty lot south of town, between the Forge and the entrance to the Secret Forest.

Its interior resembles the basic player house before upgrades. Like other extra homes, the Town Villa cannot be expanded, and your spouse and child will not live there.
