Grandpa Takakura (Event)

• Location: Inside your house
• Time: Any time of day
• Weather: Any
• Chapter: 2 or later
• Date: Spring 1, 4, 7, or 10
• Requirements:
  • Takakura is on the farm
  • Your child is inside the house
  • You have purchased at least one toy from Van and placed it in the blue toy box

This event will vary depending on whether your child plays with the Ball, Toy Car, or Toy Blocks.

You can purchase these toys from Van starting in Chapter 2:

• Ball – 500 G
• Toy Blocks – 1,000 G
• Toy Car – 1,500 G

Once purchased, the toys are added to your rucksack. You must bring them home and place them in the blue toy box. You can view each version of this event on a separate qualifying date as long as the matching toy is available in the toy box.

Ball Event

Your child pulls the ball from the toy box and shows it to Takakura. The two play catch for a little while, with your child tossing the ball to Takakura and him tossing it back.

After a bit, Takakura compliments your child on how good they are at throwing the ball.

Toy Blocks Event

Your child sets the blocks on the floor and starts stacking them. They proudly tell “Takakuwa” that what they’re making is really cool!

Takakura looks at the stack and asks if it’s a wood carving clamp. Your child responds that it’s the dog on your farm.

Toy Car Event

Your child shows Takakura their toy car. Takakura confirms that yes, it’s a toy car—and he’s puzzled how your child knows what a car sounds like since there are no cars or even TVs in the valley.

“Vroom vroom~~~~!” Your child makes car sounds while looking up at Takakura, who says nothing.

“Beep beep!” Still, Takakura stays silent. Eventually, your child grows quiet and continues playing with the little wooden car. At last, Takakura catches on and starts making car noises too.
