In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, you inherit a basic farm with pre-built structures from your father. While these buildings are functional, they can be upgraded to improve efficiency and productivity.
How to Upgrade Buildings
On your first day in Forgotten Valley, Takakura will give you a tour of the farm and introduce the Ledger next to the Barn. This Ledger is used to request various farm building upgrades in exchange for a set amount of money.
Upgrading farm facilities is not mandatory, but each one is a valuable investment. These upgrades can streamline daily chores, increase livestock capacity, automate tasks, or unlock entirely new features.
- The Ledger is located next to the Shipping Bin, near your house and animal barn.
- Each upgrade takes 1–2 days to complete.
- Once the upgrade is finished, Takakura will call you out to inspect the results.
