The Alarm Clock is a helpful item that allows you to set your character’s wake-up time, offering greater control over your daily routine in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
While you naturally wake up early by default, setting a specific wake-up time can help you better manage your farm work and stamina.
Uses
- Adjust your wake-up time to start the day earlier or later.
- Take naps during the day and wake up at a specific time.
- Recover stamina more efficiently by sleeping mid-day and waking up with full energy.
Example: If your stamina is depleted by noon, you can take a nap and set the alarm for 5 PM to recover energy and continue working.
How to Obtain the Alarm Clock

You can get the Alarm Clock for free during Chapter 2 (Branching), starting on Spring 1, Year 2.

How to Use the Alarm Clock

Once installed, the Alarm Clock can be found on the nightstand beside your bed, next to Takakura’s Notebook.
Interface
- Two black clock hands: Show the current hour and minute.
- One red clock hand: Sets your desired wake-up time.
Setting the Alarm
- Rotate the red hand to the time you want to wake up.
- Go to bed—your character will wake up exactly at the chosen time.
Nap Time Usage
If you set the alarm for a later time and sleep during the day:
- You’ll wake up at the set time on the same day, fully rested.
- If you sleep again, you’ll wake up at the same time the next morning.
For example, if you sleep at 10 AM with the alarm set to 5, you’ll wake up at 5 PM. If you sleep again, you’ll wake at 5 AM the next day.
Tips
- Useful for managing stamina in busy farming seasons.
- Allows for mid-day recovery without spending ingredients on food.
- Helps schedule work more efficiently, especially as the farm grows in later chapters.
