Child Treasure (Event)

  • Trigger: Enter your child’s bedroom from the main room
  • Time: Any time of day
  • Weather: Any
  • Season: Any
  • Chapter: 3
  • Requirements:
    • Your child is in their bedroom
    • Your spouse is not home

This cute little scene plays out differently depending on what item is sitting in your child’s room: a large tree branch or a wooden box.

Which item appears is based on your child’s personality:

  • Outgoing or mischievous kids (like Rock or Molly) will have the tree branch.
  • Quiet and introspective children (like Nami or Gustafa) will usually have the wooden box.

Your choices during this event affect your friendship level with your child, and may influence their interest in becoming either an artist or a scholar in the future. At the end of the scene, your child will ask to go to the bathroom (because of course they do).

🌳 Tree Branch Path

Your child is excited and waves around what they claim is a “magic stick” they found. They say they’ve read about something like it in a book and wonder if they can become a wizard with enough practice.

📦 Wooden Box Path

If your child has a wooden box, you can start the scene by asking about it. They’ll explain they found it washed up on the beach and imagine it might contain a treasure map. They’re planning to leave it sealed until they grow up so they can go on a real adventure someday.

Here are the dialogue choices:
