- Lumina, Romana, and Van must be inside the Villa
As you walk into the villa, you catch Van totally geeking out over Romana’s fancy furniture and rare art collection. He’s especially wowed by one particular painting he hasn’t seen before.
Romana confirms that the piece is super rare and can’t be found anywhere else. Van, ever the curious merchant, asks if she bought it directly from the artist. She says yes—the artist was inspired by Ronet, a famous surrealist painter.
Van is stunned. A rare Ronet-style painting, made by a woman? That’s basically unheard of! He tries to get closer to see the artist’s signature, but Romana quickly steps in and blocks him. Nope, not for sale!
Van begs her to reconsider, but she refuses. He eventually gives up, saying he’ll come back with a big offer next time, and leaves the villa.
Just then, Lumina comes downstairs. Turns out… she painted that artwork. She heard everything and is clearly upset no one gave her credit. She confronts Romana, who says she never claimed it wasn’t Lumina’s. (Technically, Van jumped to that conclusion.)
Romana laughs it off, telling Lumina not to worry about it and teasing that maybe they’ll see what kind of offer Van brings next time.
Lumina doesn’t find it funny. She looks at you and asks:
“Do you think I’m any good at painting?”
Before you can answer, Sebastian comes down the stairs. Lumina asks him for a quick favor, and they both head upstairs.
A few moments later, Sebastian returns and tells you he has an errand to run—and then quietly slips out of the villa.
Your Choice
- 1A: “Follow him”
You sneak after Sebastian and find him in the forest… talking to Mukumuku! He politely explains that he means no harm, but what he’s about to do is for Miss Lumina.
Then—without warning—he tells Mukumuku to let him pluck some hair! Mukumuku responds by bonking him on the head. Oof. So much for the perfect brush. The scene ends with you standing in the forest.
- 1B: “Don’t follow him”
Lumina comes back downstairs and sees you still hanging around. She asks if you like art. You say yes, and she smiles, saying maybe she’ll draw your portrait someday.
She then heads back upstairs. As you go to leave, you hear her mumbling to herself, wondering where Sebastian went to find her a new paintbrush.
Cut to the forest: Sebastian finds Mukumuku and tries to collect hair for a paintbrush… and gets smacked. Again. The scene ends with you back outside the villa.
