Baddoch Past (Event)

Baddoch has encountered Mukumuku in the forest. Surprised by the doctor’s sudden appearance, the furry creature tries to flee. However, Baddoch understands that his appearance might seem frightening.

Curious about Baddoch’s story, Mukumuku pauses and returns to listen.

Baddoch begins telling a tale from his past. Long ago, there was a young girl who had a highly contagious disease. Every doctor who tried to treat her also fell ill.

Because of this, the girl was passed from doctor to doctor—no one could help her.

Eventually, she came to Dr. Baddoch. Though her condition was severe, she reminded him of his own daughter. In his opinion, she was far too young to die. He managed to cure her, but in doing so, he contracted the disease and lost his left eye.

Mukumuku is moved by Baddoch’s story, but the doctor insists there’s no need for pity. He sees his missing eye as a badge of honor.

Baddoch wonders if Mukumuku might need medical attention and says he might even have the right injection for it.

Spooked, Mukumuku tries to flee. Baddoch stops him and asks Mukumuku to remove the costume he’s wearing, implying he thinks Mukumuku is just someone in a suit.

But Mukumuku bolts off into the forest, ending the event.
