Once again, you see Daryl heading toward the forest. Curious, you follow him and catch him laying out another food trail that leads back to his laboratory. This time, he’s sure he’ll catch the creature.
Daryl is excited to tell you about his new plan. Although his first attempt failed thanks to Pui, Operation Cryptid Catcher 2 is going to be a success.
This time, Daryl carefully selected the quality of food he’s using to lure Mukumuku—mainly fresh vegetables and fish. He believes the creature will be so distracted by the delicious offerings that it won’t notice the tranquilizer Daryl has prepared.
Just then, Daryl turns to see Mukumuku off in the distance, gathering scraps of the bait. Daryl confidently declares that you should stay and observe the perfection of his plan.
He has budgeted a whole month’s worth of food just for this attempt. Though unsure what Mukumuku actually eats, Daryl is convinced that once caught, the creature will make him rich and famous.
While Daryl rambles on, Pui once again sneaks in and gobbles up the bait before Mukumuku can reach it. The snowman-like creature turns and wanders back into the woods, leaving Pui to feast.
When Daryl finally turns around, he finds the wrong furry humanoid behind him. His bait is gone, and so is his plan.
Out of food and out of luck, Daryl grumbles about having to start all over—again.
