As you cross the bridge toward Vesta’s Farm, you’ll find Gary quietly standing near his home, gazing off toward the ocean beyond the hills.
He softly starts talking to Nina, reminiscing about the time he proposed to her—apparently around this very time of year. The sea hasn’t changed much, he notes, but life certainly has.
Gary reflects on how humbled he always felt when words failed him and Nina would simply hold his hand. He’s thankful for all the times she asked for his help, even if, deep down, he regrets not being able to do more for her.
Eventually, Gary finishes his thoughts and quietly walks back toward his house.
Note: This is a touching solo event with no player choices, but it offers a deeper glimpse into Gary’s heart and his connection with Nina. It’s one of the more emotional character moments in the game—don’t miss it if you enjoy the story-driven side of the valley!
