Old Stories (Event)

• Trigger: Walk toward the beach area
• Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weather: Sunny
• Chapter: 6 only
• Requirements: Takakura is present in the valley (i.e., not out making shipments to the city)

When you head down to the beach on a sunny day in Chapter 6, you’ll find Takakura and your child chatting by the shoreline.

They’re deep in conversation, and your child is clearly fascinated. Takakura is telling them about the old days—about how you, back when you were much younger, sent him a letter out of the blue, even though you’d never met before. Your child is shocked: “You seriously just wrote to a stranger like that?! I could never do that!”

Takakura chuckles and begins to say, “That’s not even the wildest part—there was this one time your parents…” But before he can finish, he notices you approaching.

With a knowing smile, he tells your child that the rest of the story will have to wait for another time. Your child groans, frustrated that you’ve walked in right when things were getting good. They chase after Takakura, begging him to tell the rest of the story.
