As you enter the Lei-Over Inn during a calm spring day, you overhear a heartfelt conversation between Tei and Lou inside.

Tei brings up an unexpected question—asking Lou if she’s truly happy being with him, even though it’s too late to change anything now. Lou smiles warmly and reassures him: “Of course I am!” She wonders why he’s suddenly being so sentimental.

Tei reflects on the past, remembering how she followed him on his travels, even when he chose to settle down permanently in Forgotten Valley. Lou gently reminds him that she wanted to stay, that she’s grown to love this life—and then turns the question back on him: does he feel the same way?

Tei nods and says there’s no problem at all. With a cheerful grin, Lou decides it’s the perfect time to cook something delicious. Tei agrees—it sounds like a great idea.
