Nami is one of the marriage candidates in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. She’s a quiet and introverted person who often wanders around town on her own. At night, she returns to her room on the second floor of the Inn.

Nami takes pride in her independence and doesn’t want to rely on—or bother—others. But deep down, that makes her feel a bit lonely.

She does want to help people, especially the kind innkeepers she lives with. However, the fear of being rejected or making things worse usually holds her back.

If you marry Nami, she’ll often visit Lou and Tei at the Inn.

As you walk near the inn, you see Nami standing under a tree, watching the elderly couple Gary and Nina as they go on a stroll. She’s so absorbed in the sight that she doesn’t notice you until you greet her.

Startled, Nami tells you she was trying to decide where to go next. But it seems like she thinks you don’t believe her. She then admits she’ll just wander near the big house before walking off without another word.

2 Heart

Location: Outside your farm
Time: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Weather: Sunny only
Requirements: Nami at 2+ hearts, Introduction Event seen

Nami drops by your farm but claims she’s not here to see you specifically. You’re free to get back to work.

1B: “Okay! Enjoy the farm.” (+10 AP)	Nami explores the fields and animals. Before she leaves, she comments that your farm seems pretty cool.

Nami is sitting inside the café and greets you as you enter.

1A: “Can I take this spot?“	The silence is awkward. Maybe some small talk will help.
2A: “Why’d you come to Forgotten Valley?“	Nami says she just likes traveling.

2B: “Oh, nice.”	The conversation flows smoothly. Nami wonders if running a farm is profitable.

As Nami leaves, Molly notices she didn’t pay for her food.

Tei and Lou knock on your door early, asking if you’ve seen Nami. She left money behind and disappeared, and they’re worried.

1A: “Of course!“	You chase after them, and spot Nami walking down the main road.
1B: “I’ll look for her, too.” (+5 FP)	with Lou and Tei. You all split up to search.

Back at the inn, no one has found her. Then Nami appears, asking about lunch. Everyone is relieved. Nami admits she meant to leave, but hunger brought her back. She apologizes to you before going in to eat.

Nami grumbles about receiving something in the mail. Tei informs you that Nami’s father called but didn’t want to talk. He simply confirmed she was there and hung up.

Nami then wonders if she should get a job and asks Tei if she can work at the inn. Tei agrees, but Nami changes her mind and walks out. Before she leaves, she turns to you and asks:

Tei mentions that Nami has been acting a bit melancholic lately and asks you to talk to her. As Nami heads out, you follow her to the beach.

She tells you she’ll soon leave Forgotten Valley because she’s running out of money and doesn’t want charity. She thanks you for everything.

Proposal

Location: Inn
Requirement: Give Nami the Blue Feather when she has 8+ hearts

Nami is shocked when you propose and takes you to her room. After showing her the Blue Feather again, she pauses and decides that marriage might suit her after all.

Engagement

Location: Exit your farmhouse
Time: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weather: Any
Requirement: Engaged to Nami

Carter appears and asks for help with the dig site. Nami joins in after being invited. During the dig, she finds a small relic, then a beautiful crystal—but you also find one, and it’s her favorite.

Back outside, she laughs about Carter’s reaction and catches you smiling.
